  • The Journal of Fenomena was published by the Center for Research and Community Service (LP2M), STAIN Jember, and was first published in 2002 based on the decree of the chairman of STAIN Jember.
  • From Vol. 1 No. 1 (2002) to Vol. 11 No. 2 (2012), articles were published in the Fenomena in print.
  • Since 2013, articles on the Fenomena have been published online using OJS version 2.
  • Starting from Vol. 18 No. 1 (2019), the journal’s URL has moved from http://ejournal.iain-jember.ac.id/ to http://fenomena.iain-jember.ac.id/index.php/fenomena/issue/archive.
  • Since 2021, the journal has been awarded an accredited Sinta 5 , based on the Directorate General of Higher Education and the Ministry of Research & Technology decree number 164 / KPT / 2021, December 27th, 2021, and valid until 2026.
  • Starting from Vol. 20 No. 1 (2021), the number of published articles increased from 7 to 10 articles per issue, and therefore every volume consisted of 20 articles.
  • February 3, 2022, starting from Vol. 21 No. 1 (2022), all articles are published in English.
  • February 3, 2022, the journal logo is changed into a colorful and more interesting one.
  • Jun 21, 2022, the journal has been indexed in (DOAJ: Directory of Open Access Journals)
  • July 1, 2022, the journal’s URL has moved from http://fenomena.iain-jember.ac.id/index.php/fenomena/ to http://fenomena.uinkhas.ac.id/index.php/fenomena.
