The culture of the Jember community, which places kyai (religious leaders) as revered figures even after their passing, has led to many kyai graves being frequently visited in Jember Regency. These graves are often considered sacred places believed to be the most suitable for praying to God for specific purposes, as well as for praying for the souls of the respective kyai.
